As a Military Veterans Charitable Initiative, High Peaks challenges those in proximity to the Catskills Region in Southeastern New York to top all 35 high peaks in a single day in support of local veterans in need.

If you are interested in participating but prefer local NJ options, there are several recommended areas to hike. Areas include:

Rancocas State Park
Valley Forge National Park
Franklin Parker Preserve
Black Run Preserve
This event is not restricted to the Catskills or to southern NJ - it can be completed anywhere!

If you are signing up to participate locally, please select 'Local Option' in the peaks list.

Whether hiking in the Catskills, locally in NJ, or elsewhere, participants are asked to hold up a sign with a veteran's name and take a picture on the day of the event to honor those who served. Masks are recommended in order to be included in the post event picture collage.
