Memorial ride for Rj
Our family is hosting our first memorial poker run ride. We are a very military strong family, with many serving many many years. As with most veterans, several of our family members have come home with visible as well as non-visible injuries. Due to these non visible injuries our family has paid the ultimate sacrifice. Our loved one succumbed to his PTSD with a drug overdose. We truly believe that with the assistance of a organization like K9s For Warriors, we can all assist in making a difference and improving many veterans quality of life.
Determined to end veteran suicide, K9s For Warriors provides highly-trained Service Dogs to military veterans suffering from PTSD, traumatic brain injury and/or military sexual trauma. With the majority of dogs coming from high-kill rescue shelters, this innovative program allows the K9/Warrior team to build an unwavering bond that facilitates their collective healing and recovery.
