Hi there! My name is Anna Marie and I admire the work that K9s For Warriors does for our community. As a dog owner myself, I know the value of companionship these incredible dogs provide for a family and a person in need. I am often stopped by a veteran when I am with Sofia (my 8 month old German Shepherd), who begins to share their experience with their own dogs in the service of our country. These animals live to serve us and will do anything, including lay down their life, to save ours. We owe them so much.

I know this season has been especially hard for charities and I wanted to help to give back by raising donations for K9s For Warriors.

With March Madness coming up and as a professional photographer who loves pets, I am hosting a small competition for the Ulti-Mutt Cutest Pup in Jacksonville, FL intertwining dog photo sessions with bracket photo competition.

Determined to end veteran suicide, K9s For Warriors provides highly-trained Service Dogs to military veterans suffering from PTSD, traumatic brain injury and/or military sexual trauma. With the majority of dogs coming from high-kill rescue shelters, this innovative program allows the K9/Warrior team to build an unwavering bond that facilitates their collective healing and recovery.
