Christopher Lee Garcia

Christopher Lee Garcia sadly passed on September 24, 2022, after a beautiful and loving life. We are saddened by this tragic loss, but we are uplifted knowing our beloved son, brother, and father, is now with the angels and saints in Heaven.

Chris left high school in 2002 to chase his dreams to serve in the US Army. He served for 10 years during which he deployed 3 times to Iraq. He had a wonderful career with the military and met so many brothers in arms that he called family. He left the Army in 2012 with numerous medals and citations. He was a true patriot.

Upon his return, Chris continued to grow his family to three young men whom he loved very much. Chris moved to Florida to go to school and eventually worked with motorcycles and enjoyed his experiences working with Service Dogs. Chris had many talents some to include forging and building weapons, glass blowing and carpentry work, wood burning and leather working. He liked both open water and hard-hat diving. He was constantly learning. He would pick up a hobby learn everything he could about it and move on to the next. He enjoyed old western movies, reading and painting. He was good with math and loved science and he loved watching rockets launch from the Cape and would post the launches on Facebook so we could all enjoy them as well. He definitely was an adventurous soul. He loved taking road trips on either his Harley-Davidson or his Jeep. He loved the adventure of being outdoors, loved walking, hiking, and going to the beach. He loved camping and sleeping under the stars. He was always making corny jokes and making people laugh and always brought a smile to everyone's face.

Chris comes from a very large family that will forever hold him in our hearts.  He is gone but never forgotten. Chris you may be gone from our sight, but you are never gone from our hearts.

He is now reunited with those we've lost before him and his beloved Service Dog, Jake. He and Jake were partners in crime and lived life to the fullest. He recieved Jake 2014 and they were a perfect match for each other. Chris was grateful for this organization that helped pair him with a Service Dog. He missed Jake everyday so we take comfort knowing they will be reunited.
