James was a strong supporter of K9s For Warriors, a nonprofit organization that provides service dogs to veterans suffering from PTSD, TBI, and other injuries as a result of military service. In his honor, his family is setting up a donation in his name to the organization, in the hopes that his legacy will continue to help veterans and their furry companions.

James was a true warrior, who fought until the very end. He will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him, but his memory will live on through the countless lives he will continue to touch through his generosity and selflessness. He may be gone, but his spirit will live on through the veterans and their service dogs he helped to provide.
