Pets for Vets

This year, for Veterans Day, I am leading a fundraiser for our veterans. I selected the charity, K9s for Warriors, because they provide service dogs for veterans suffering from PTSD and other mental health issues. The bonus is that this charity gets the service dogs from shelters, so they are saving the dogs' lives too!
 

This Veterans Day, November 11, please wear RED, WHITE, & BLUE in honor of our veterans, and donate $1 to raise money for K9s for Warriors.

"The $1 is symbolic of our first president, George Washington, who led the Patriots in winning the Revolutionary War, so he was also a veteran. And, when every single 1 of us comes together, we can make a difference!" - Andrew Pellitero

For school donations, money will be collected before school at the school entrance. K9s for Warriors will receive all funds raised!
 
 

Determined to end veteran suicide, K9s For Warriors provides highly-trained Service Dogs to military veterans suffering from PTSD, traumatic brain injury and/or military sexual trauma. With the majority of dogs coming from high-kill rescue shelters, this innovative program allows the K9/Warrior team to build an unwavering bond that facilitates their collective healing and recovery.
