PTSD is a harsh reality for many men and women within and outside of our armed forces. These people struggle, many times without aid or a shoulder to lean on. Your donation will provide a partner to a warrior who is struggling, a fighter who desperatly needs help. My father suffered immensely from his PTSD. Without a dog by his side there to calm and support him I doubt he would be in such a good place today. Lets give of ourselves, for the betterment of the men and women, who stalwartly hold the line and defnd our freedoms.

K9s For Warriors changes lives, not just for the service men and women, but also for the animals they rescue from shelters across the states. They can't do this alone. To train a Service Dog through the program, it costs approximately $25,000. Thats a lot of time and money that the staff and volunteers within the organization give of themselves to ensure our veterans have a Guardian, a Battle Buddy, who has their back.

Determined to end veteran suicide, K9s For Warriors provides highly-trained Service Dogs to military veterans suffering from PTSD, traumatic brain injury and/or military sexual trauma. With the majority of dogs coming from high-kill rescue shelters, this innovative program allows the K9/Warrior team to build an unwavering bond that facilitates their collective healing and recovery.
