Grizzly Hills Supply Co. is working to support our veterans with monetary donations to K9s For Warriors. We will be selling tourniquets with the help of The Hungry Mule in Lake Zurich to anyone that wishes to contribute. The event will be active until Wednesday November 30th, 2022 at 9pm, when The Hungry Mule closes.
What's a tourniquet?
A tourniquet is a device used to control and/or stop bleeding. Tourniquets are medical devices used by the military, first responders and civilians from all over the world and are an essential emergency response tool to keep at your disposal.
Tourniquets will be available for $20.00. Grizzly Hills Supply Co. will donate $5.00 for every tourniquet that is sold to K9s For Warriors. Grizzly Hills Supply Co has contributed 90 tourniquets to push the event.
Stop in The Hungry Mule, located at 463 S Rand Rd, Lake Zurich, IL 60047 and talk to the cashier or server about the fundraising event!
Be sure sure to enjoy a burger and fries with your tourniquet!
Veterans day is Friday, November 11th.
Determined to end veteran suicide, K9s For Warriors provides highly-trained Service Dogs to military veterans suffering from PTSD, traumatic brain injury and/or military sexual trauma. With the majority of dogs coming from high-kill rescue shelters, this innovative program allows the K9/Warrior team to build an unwavering bond that facilitates their collective healing and recovery.
