My passion for animals, particularly dogs, has always been unwavering, and I truly believe that these exceptional beings are always there for us, offering unconditional love and support.

In an effort to make an even greater impact, I wanted to raise awareness and contribute to a cause that combines the power of service dogs with the needs of veterans. Through my readings, I've discovered the incredible ways in which service dogs have helped veterans who return home from war with PTSD, struggling to adapt to their pre-war lives or grappling with the harrowing experiences they've faced while fighting for our country. Together we can reduce veteran PTSD symptoms by 82%.

K9s For Warriors not only aligns with my beliefs but also actively rescues dogs from kill shelters, training them to become service dogs for veterans in need. In this remarkable partnership, both the veteran and the dog are given a new leash on life - essentially saving each other. Determined to end veteran suicide, K9s For Warriors provides highly-trained Service Dogs to military veterans suffering from PTSD, traumatic brain injury and/or military sexual trauma. With the majority of dogs coming from high-kill rescue shelters, this innovative program allows the K9/Warrior team to build an unwavering bond that facilitates their collective healing and recovery.
